Yvette Fatsawo
Position : President and founding member
Originally from Togo, I have a deep-rooted commitment to fostering positive change within communities. I closely oversee our projects on-site, ensuring that every initiative aligns with our mission and delivers real, measurable impact. My role involves not only managing project development but also engaging with local communities to understand their needs and challenges firsthand. By being on the ground, I can ensure that our work remains transparent, sustainable, and genuinely beneficial to those we serve. With a background in community development and a passion for social empowerment, I am dedicated to making a difference every step of the way.

Yvette Fatsawo co-founded the association in 2009 and has been on the board ever since.

The education and training of children is particularly important to me. We give them an important basic foundation that will allow them to have an independent life because these children are the future of Togo.”
Jürgen Prätor has been an active member of the board since 2011 and has visited Togo several times to support and monitor the progress of our initiatives. His commitment to empowering the younger generation through education drives his work and vision for the organization. As Chairman, Jürgen provides strategic guidance, helping to shape programs that focus on sustainable development and capacity building. With a passion for creating opportunities, he believes that every child deserves access to the tools necessary for a brighter future. His leadership and dedication have been instrumental in the growth and impact of our projects over the years.

Position : 2. Chairman of the Board of Directors
Steffi Junge has been a dedicated member of the board of directors since 2012. In 2013, she took her commitment further by living and working on-site with the projects in Togo for six months. This immersive experience allowed her to gain a profound understanding of the local community’s needs and the challenges faced by the children and families involved in the programs. As the 2nd Chairman, Steffi plays a crucial role in guiding the organization’s direction, ensuring that projects are not only sustainable but also
deeply impactful. Her hands-on experience and compassionate approach make her a vital advocate for change and growth within the organization.

Leonie Dubin co-founded the Association in 2009 with a vision to bring hope and opportunity to children in Togo. Since then, as a dedicated board member, she regularly visits Togo to oversee projects and maintain close relationships with the communities served. Leonie’s passion for making a difference is driven by her empathy and deep connection to the children, whose resilience and joy inspire her work. As Secretary, she is responsible for maintaining organizational structure and communication, ensuring the smooth operation of the Association. Her commitment to creating a nurturing environment for these children continues to shape the foundation’s mission and impact.
